Police have arrested underworld dons Kanjipani Imran and Loku Patti, who are believed to be the masterminds behind the murder of billionaire businessman Surendra Wasantha Perera, also known as Club Wasantha.
Kanjipani Imran was apprehended in Belarus, while Loku Patti was detained in Dubai, according to sources. However, these reports have not been confirmed by the Police.
The murder of Surendra Wasantha Perera, alias Club Wasantha, was orchestrated by underworld don Kanjipani Imran and executed by Loku Patti from Dubai.
In a separate operation, the Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested two individuals involved in the drug network of notorious drug trafficker and criminal gang leader Kanjipani Imran. The arrests were made during a special raid in the Ragama area. The suspects have reportedly provided valuable information to investigators.
Additionally, tattoo shop owner Dulan Sanjula confessed to police that he received money from underworld figure Loku Patti, who is suspected to be in Dubai, to open the shop. Sanjula admitted that Loku Patti coerced him into inviting Surendra Wasantha Perera, known as Club Wasantha.
