The Lioness of India, as she’s affectionately known, had been clawing and scratching to make the 50kg weight limit. She even resorted to drastic measures like chopping off her luscious locks. But alas, the wrestling gods had other plans.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was left as stunned as a Bollywood villain after a particularly bad hair day. He took to social media to express his shock and disappointment, calling Phogat a “champion among champions” and promising her unwavering support.
